Akrapovic Piaggio MP3 400 LT (2008-2012) Slip-On System
This slip-on system is designed as a basic first step towards improving the exhaust note of your motorcycle as well as adding some well needed power. Slip-on exhausts generally do not replace OE emission control devices and are generally more road-friendly – but check local laws to be certain. Using a separate fuel controller, such as a Power Commander V, is a recommended (but generally not required) option when installing a slip-on exhaust system on your motorcycle. Akrapovic makes what many consider to be the best motorcycle exhaust for the MP3 400/LT. Weight savings over the stock exhaust is 10.4lbs and an increase of 1.0ft-lb torque at 6500rpm and a 1.4hp increase at 7950rpm can be seen.
