Fly Racing’s helmet range is led by the Fly Formula Helmet. Countless hours of research, development and refinement has resulted in one of the most advanced motocross helmets ever created. Tested on the most advanced equipment in the world, the Formula helmets overall performance is best in class in both high velocity crashes as well as rotational and low-speed impacts. This technologically advanced helmet redefines helmet performance and safety expectations. For 2021, Fly Racing have expanded the Formula range to include the Fly Formula CC Helmet. Featuring all the high tech safety features of the class topping Formula Carbon, the Formula CC features a Tri-Weave Composite outer shell in place of the full carbon that the Formula had solely featured in the past. This blended shell material is comprised of carbon fiber, DuPont Kevlar and fibreglass which allows the Formula CC to come in at a more affordable price than that of the carbon model.

The Formula CC features Fly’s Adaptive Impact System (AIS) which has been developed as the result of years of collaborated research and design with industry leading doctors, scientists, and physicists from around the world. AIS is a high-performance ecosystem of structural design and energy mitigating materials. Each layer from Energy Cells, to the dual-density EPS liner, and the tri-weave composite shell, was carefully fine-tuned to achieve superior head protection from the widest possible range of real-world impacts.

Opt for the absolute in total head protection with FLY Racing’s Formula helmet. Its Adaptive Impact System (AIS) whose high-performance ecosystem of structural designs and energy mitigating materials — including RHEON, a leading-edge viscoelastic material — is fine-tuned to greatly improve impact management over traditional helmets. Developed in collaboration with the world’s foremost leaders in helmet safety. Tested under rigorous scientific review to exceed ECE and DOT standards. Enjoy elevated defence against a wider range of impacts when you ride with the Formula

  • Tri-weave composite is comprised of carbon fiber, Dupont Kevlar and fibreglass, which offers an extremely lightweight shell with superior penetration resistance
  • Impact Energy Cells made of RHEON, the Impact Energy Cells maximize absorption of low speed linear and rotational impacts, reducing forces transmitted to the brain
  • Conehead® EPS Technology provides a softer liner whereby the cones help manage or absorb an impact force more efficiently. Six critical zones have been fine-tuned for a progressive response to low speed and high-speed impacts
  • Expanded volume EPS means strategic areas of the helmet have more impact-absorbing EPS, more suspension between your head and the ground

  • EPP chin bar-Expanded polypropylene creates an additional element of impact mitigation
  • Clavicle shell relief zone creates a soft zone filled with EPS and EPP to aid in reducing clavicle injuries
  • Custom molded rubber trim with integrated nose guard
  • Lightweight custom visor screws and titanium alloy D-rings

  • 1340 grams +/-50 (size medium/large)

  • Comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads are made of a washable moisture-wicking, anti-microbial material

  • True Functional Ventilation (TFV)-When in motion air is forced through multiple air intake vents, then passed through aligned vent channels in the EPS and exits out multiple rear exhaust vents

  • Soft Fleece Helmet Bag
